How we help
Last year we installed total flexibility into 57 institutional facilities throughout the world. So whether the project is a multi-tiered auditorium, a new library for a university or a government/municipal facility, Camino can provide flexible, energy efficient and economical solutions.
For almost every institutional space the fundamental advantage of RAF is that services such as wiring, cables, electrical supply, plumbing and air distribution can be easily routed under the elevated surface.
Institutional buildings with underfloor air distribution systems enjoy improved air quality and lower energy and maintenance costs. Over 70% of institutional Camino installations have featured the ideal combination of a RAF and UFAD system.
A Camino MPD System paired with our Plug & Play technology provides unlimited flexibility for institutional buildings. Occupants have a system that’s economical, accessible and adaptable.
Camino offers a vast range of surfaces, colours and textures from which to choose, including a full selection of of durable vinyls that are ideal for heavy traffic areas.

The Centre for Interactive Research and Sustainability is a living laboratory for sustainability and innovation. The organization wanted to modify the design of their 450-seat auditorium in order to improve the indoor air environment. This goal was achieved with a Camino RAF enhanced by a Camino UFAD system. The new system included individual diffusers so that occupants could control the airflow in their personal space. This CIRS initiative inspired the University of British Columbia to require that new campus projects strive to achieve similar sustainable goals.
